How much is halal catering
per person?
Roughly eight to ten dollars a head, if you order the way most groups actually eat. Here are the real tray prices and the arithmetic behind that number.
The number, and where it comes from
Every tray we make serves 10 to 12 people. A standard office spread is one main tray, one rice or fries tray, and two mezze. For 10 to 12 guests that lands at about $8 to $10 per person.
That is not a quote — it is the arithmetic on our actual tray prices, so you can sanity-check any catering estimate you get, including ours.
Tray prices
- Main shawarma trays — $89.99 to $109.99. Chicken, beef or mix, carved the day of your event.
- Rotisserie chicken tray — from $61.99. Three whole chickens.
- Mezze and salad trays — from $34.99. Hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, fattoush, grape leaves.
- Rice and fries trays — the base the rest sits on.

Where people over-order
Two honest notes, which cost us money to tell you:
- Mezze scale slower than mains. Doubling the guests does not mean doubling the hummus. Three mezze trays feed 24 people comfortably.
- Rice trays go further than people expect. Two rice trays cover 30 people if there are three main trays alongside.
The most common mistake is ordering a mezze tray per main tray. You end up with leftover hummus and not enough meat.
What changes the price
- Notice. A day ahead is comfortable. Same-day large orders depend on what is already on the spit.
- Vegetarian split. Swapping a main tray for a falafel tray costs less, not more — see vegetarian and vegan halal catering.
